Argonaut Cycles are Custom lugged and fillet brazed steel bicycles made in Portland, Oregon.

Argonaut Cycles is re-building it's brand, using new materials for faster, lighter, more customized bicycles. They decided a re-brand was in order, so they came to Humble Giants in search of a new brand to better reflect their upcoming material changes.

Working with the name and theme of customization, strength, durability and speed, plus the added connotations of the Greek Argonauts, we first came up with the powerful Helmet logo. The icon stands out as very iconic of what bicycle riding is, and conveys strength, energy, speed and power. To fit the iconic mark, we played with manufactured/straight/precise typography, and finally came into something that has characteristics of speed, accuracy and a machine feel.
