TAVIK is an iconic Southern California lifestyle brand that exploded out of a fusion of surf, street, and skate. TAVIK provides streetwear, surf clothing, & skate clothing but differentiates itself with loud, ‘out there’ designs that scream to individuals and empower them to define themselves. It’s distinct style coupled with clean, contemporary lines produces a brand that goes beyond trends and fosters originality. TAVIK is more than apparel- it is a radical lifestyle movement in itself. Working with TAVIK, I created a slimmed down line-sheet for the brands upcoming Fall line. Their previous line sheets were a jumbled mess of boxes and extraneous information. We gutted all that extra information, gave each piece it's own area and allowed the rest to fall into place. By simplifying the design, we actually created MORE room, allowing us to have some fun with minor graphic elements that act as background visual stimulation. The focus of a line sheet is to show buyers the product, and not to bog down the experience with un-needed design. By slimming down and focusing on what really matters (the product) we gave TAVIK a truly beautiful and powerful line sheet to give out to their purchasers.
